Legacy Giving: A Gift That Lasts Beyond a Lifetime

Many of us reach a point in life where we think about the mark we want to leave behind. Through Legacy Giving, you can ensure that your values of justice, fairness, and community continue to shape Cleveland for generations to come.

By including the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation in your estate plans, you can create a lasting legacy that reflects your life’s priorities. Options for Legacy Giving include:

  • A gift in your will or trust. A simple bequest can direct a portion of your estate to support the Foundation’s mission.

  • Life insurance policies. You can name the Foundation as a beneficiary of a policy you already hold.

  • Retirement funds. Designating the Foundation as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), or other retirement account is a straightforward way to give.

These gifts cost nothing during your lifetime but provide tremendous support for future generations. Your foresight ensures that access to justice, education, and community service remain strong pillars of Cleveland’s future.

If you would like to discuss options or learn more, we are here to answer your questions confidentially and without obligation.
