Jerry is the first lawyer in Cleveland to have dedicated his practice entirely to mediation, having served as mediator and negotiation consultant in thousands of high impact, complex disputes. Among the select 450 mediators throughout the world recognized by Who’s Who Legal: Mediation, he has been given special recognition within that group as a “Thought Leader.” Consistently rated First Tier in Mediation by U.S. News and World Report and a perennial selectee of Super Lawyers (frequently top 100 lawyers in Ohio and top 50 in Cleveland) and Best Lawyers in America (2013 and 2018 Mediation Lawyer of the Year), he is the only person in Northeast Ohio to have been inducted as a Distinguished Fellow in the International Academy of Mediators (a peer selected organization of 190 of the world’s premier commercial mediators) and was one of its governors. He is a life member of the Eighth District Judicial Conference and is a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and was an original panelist on the Federal Panel of Mediators and Arbitrators. Jerry is an adjunct professor at CWRU School of Law where he designed and teaches Mediation Representation.
